12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13 KJV)
I picked Romans due to the immigration tug-of-war that is going on. As I have written before, the Bible speaks in metaphors all the time. In Romans twelve, when the Bible say “the Jew and the Greek”, the Bible mean that no matter who you are, whatever country you are from or whatever language you speak, you can be saved by calling on the name of the Lord. It does not say there is a difference or there must be any other test. Just call on the name of the Lord.
I have not studied the Koran, I only know a little. However, I do know that, in a way, the Koran is not that much different than our Bible. The main message is peace as both books expound. Yet, so many people are so hung up on one or the other that they want to kill the other because they do not believe in their book. It is not the book to believe in but the name of the Lord, which is different in each book. I do remember (I can not recall where in the Bible but it is there) that no one can pronounce the name of God. Therefore, each praises and say the name of God in their own way. All that is necessary is to believe and call the name of the Lord.
The present mess is said to keep terrorists out of the country. However, it is keeping all people that believe in the Koran or (should I say) use the Koran as we use the Bible. God or Allah are both the same. Mohammad is different, of another entity all together, but is used as a cohesive element in the book. I know it goes much deeper but that is the gist of the facts, as I see it. Still, the prayers are to God, not Mohammad. Mohammad is mentioned as John or Luke or Mary, etc. is mentioned.
There is no reason to say a person that is not Christian can not come to this country. That is saying that whomever does not believe in God is barred. No true. As you can surmise, these people believe in God, only they call the name of God differently. Let me say it another way. I have some friends that knew me back in the day. To them my pet name is “Chicken George” but that is not my real name. To go even further back in time, my nickname was and still is “Bobby”. Either way, I am still the same person. Have been and will always be. Believe it or not, I answer to many different names because different sets of people know me by a certain name.
Let us stop referring to people and/or denying people according to a certain belief. Whether Jew, Muslim, Gentile, whatever; let us call on the name of the Lord and be saved. All peoples can call on the name of the Lord even if the peoples use a different name each and every time. Believe and call Him and save yourself, save the world. For if not, we are all surely doomed. The clock is ticking.
