4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.   5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ;  and shall deceive many.   6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:  see that ye be not troubled:  for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.   7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:  and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.   8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.   9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:  and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.   10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.   11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.   12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.   13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  (Matthew 24:4-13 KJV)

I may be old, but my memory is not failing. I remember when another President was trying to negotiate with another country and that country was very belligerent towards everyone. It was said then that the President was trying to start a war so that he would be re-elected. He negotiated and had a peaceful outcome. Not many people remember that or don’t want to remember it and praise the war-like situation that is occurring now.

Jesus said to take heed that no man deceives you, yet many are being willfully deceived. He also reminded His disciples that whomever it is will say they are Christ (I’ve heard him say ‘I am the chosen one’). Now we have rumors of war and we are on a razor thin edge from having one. This President wants to put all attention on a conflict or war so as he will get from under impeachment and get re-elected. He wants people to forget that he said the same about the previous President.

In this take from the Bible, many things will happen, things that are happening now. Look around you and see the fires, floods, earthquakes, famine, conflicts galore, etc. God is the saving Grace and He say to endure until the end, and you will be saved but these things must happen first.

Maybe it’s a good thing that we have a President that will bring these things to a speedy end so that God may cleanse the earth of what He does not desire. I, for one, am too old to be around to see the end, but you may see it. Remember what I wrote about time and what time mean to God. It’s coming about, but in God’s own time and (as it is said in the Bible) when you least expect it, like a thief in the night.

Many nations dislike us Americans (three years ago we were adored). When we were on a war footing, we could deploy and set up a forward base camp in almost any country. Today, I can not name a country that willfully would accept us. These countries have not risen against us yet, but they do not want us as they have before. Matthew twenty-four is slowly coming.
