8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint – heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 8:19 For the earn expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God. 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope, 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delive red from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (Romans 8:17-21 KJV)

          We are now in this with a new administration and, as a democratic nation, we all must band together and move on. We survived through the last four years, the last administration, which shows all of us that as a democratic nation we can survive anything. May God be with us and bless us for what is in our future.

          The ex-President and his children and followers have an exceptionally long road to travel. The trip will not be easy, and the road will not become anywhere close to smoothing without atonement. There are those that say they are not the ones that should atone because they have not done anything wrong. One large fault that need atonement is the assault on the capitol, incited by the ex-President, carried out by his followers and not a word from his followers in and out of Congress.

          ‘We the People…’ include a democratic government that encompasses a smooth transition of the Presidency and peace. Peace does not mean the taking of the capitol because who you voted for did not win. It does not mean you will attempt to take the democratic result of the election away because who you wanted to win did not. It also does not mean you will delve into corruption to gain what is not yours to gain. It also does not mean you slow confirmations and assign people to highly placed departments in the government to cause disruption and chaos.

          As I have written in many blogs, what is happening has happened many times before. Read the Bible. Read history books. The Bible, as history, repeats itself. Learn from history. Learn from the Bible. Learn from God and be rewarded by God for obeying his covenants. I can not help those that do not agree nor accept the election results. Only God can help you and only He will help when you atone and ask forgiveness.

          The ex-President is many things and one of the many is his vanity. Those that agree with him, follow him, and refuse to clearly see things as they are will jump off the same cliff he jumped from. I can only tell you and, God help me, I do not intend to tell you wrong.

          It is said, ‘to err is human…’, but by not wanting to see clearly, not wanting to hear clearly and by not admitting he as well as you are wrong is putting yourself on the wrong side of God. He will answer to God and so will the followers of him. Your days are numbered and when your number is up it is too late to attempt to atone. Atone now for the hour of you answering before God is not known.
