24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world? 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you. 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 24:6 And all of you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that all of you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers’ places. 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you: and all of you shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love (o. agape) of many shall wax cold. 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. (Matthew 24:3-13 KJV)

          Daniel 9:27 (remember there are many metaphors) say the same thing hundreds of years before Matthew wrote what Jesus said. I was researching something entirely different when I came upon this that reminded me of another similar blog, I wrote some time ago. What matters is Daniel talked about the end time and these set of predictions are the only ones that have not come to fruition. All other predictions made by Daniel have now passed.

          Matthew put the end time in plain English (Aramaic in that time) and what we are going through is just the beginning of sorrows. Just think what Congress and all of us are going through. Everyone against everyone. Civil disagreement is no longer the norm. Vote ‘no’ if they vote ‘yes’ and vice versa. There is also a dislike (I will call it hate) for one another, not only in Congress but everywhere.

          Then there are the false prophets, those that know everything but, in reality, does not know anything. They are talking to deceive, line their own pockets, and enhance their own minority of people.

          He also mentioned there will be wars, nation against nation, people against people. It is happening along with the natural catastrophes around the world. Yet some in Congress is against any bill that slows this down because the other side is attempting to pass it. It may be too late anyway.

          Both Daniel and Matthew say for us to go to the mountain top and stay there until it is over. Jesus also say that the deserving people will be saved. As I have said many times, pray and repent and maybe, just maybe you will be received by God. All of us have sinned but God is a forgiving God and by repenting, praying and believing in God we have a chance of eternal life in Heaven.
