6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repents me that I have made them. (Genesis 6:5-7 KJV)

          For many years we have been experiencing the slow decline of the earth. There is deforestation (the Amazon Rain Forest is one of the most important?), drought, glacier melt, intense hurricanes, intense cyclones, volcanoes, earthquakes, floods, fires, murder, and all sorts of crime and other weather.

          Although this have happened a few times before and will happen again. This is because (Genesis 6:5) of the greed of the majority of humans, just to name one thought of the heart. By that I mean, for instance, things like corporate greed when they are already billionaires but is taking more and more plus not paying any taxes.

          Another example is Congress. They are to represent the people of their district, but they do not. They, no matter what the issue is, will vote against the other party, no matter what. They are also there to make money for themselves. The average middle class family make around $20,000-$30,000 (some are below with some a little above) and there are members of Congress wanting a pay raise although they make around $174,000 and more, plus a large pension plan, plus…

          I have talked about the weather more than once. I am in Virginia, and this is the warmest February since they have been keeping records. The weather crisis is too large to mention all or most of it here. But one important one is the earthquake in Turkey and Syria with many strong aftershocks.

          When I was growing up earthquakes and tornados were unheard of in my area. Now it is common. There is an old saying, ‘be careful of what you wish for. You just may get it’. There are times people want warmth in the winter, not the 20 to 30 degrees above average, which is common now. They also want a mix in the summer. Now they have many tornados all year. Then there are areas that want it a little cooler and now they have blizzards larger and longer than they usually get.

          What I am talking about is not only in the United States but all around the world. Complete destruction of the earth is coming. Will humans survive is anyone’s guess. God is watching and slowly doing his thing. Just because you go to church, holler, and shout while you are there, it is what you do before and after that counts. What is in your heart counts more than you know.

          Destruction is coming to every corner of earth and only God can stop it. Maybe God will depopulate earth to repopulate it (Genesis 6:7). Maybe He wants to try again to make humans that will follow His commandments. Maybe if we had done better there wouldn’t be a worldly destruction.
