43:9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this and show us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, it is truth. 43:10 All of you are My witnesses, says the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that all of you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me. 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no saviour. 43:12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have showed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore, all of you are My witnesses, says the LORD, that I am God. 43:13 Yea, before the day was, I am He; and there is none that can deliver out of My hand: I will work, and who shall let it? (Isaiah 43:9-13 KJV)

          I have my teaching hat on and will go to Isaiah again. Isaiah is considered by both Jews and Christians to be the greatest of the biblical prophets.

          Isaiah’s collected writings can be viewed as a Bible in miniature. Isaiah’s prophecy has sixty-six chapters just like the Bible has sixty-six books. There are two major sections of Isaiah just like we have two sections of the Bible. The first division of Isaiah contains thirty-nine chapters exactly like the Old Testament contains thirty-nine books. The twenty-seven chapters of the second division of Isaiah parallel the twenty-seven books of the New Testament.

          The section I am covering is the second division where Isaiah began to tell his people about God’s promises of future blessing and restoration. God’s judgment was certain, but His anger would not last forever. I believe God is angry knowing His people are not following His laws. That His creations continue to disobey Him. That most of His creations do not know or acknowledge Him.

          I am not only talking about the people in the USA, but I am also talking about people all over the world. There are wars, rumors of wars, immense suffering, unusual weather, volcanoes, and much more. Yet people, especially the upper crust people, either do not believe in God or that they can do what they want to do, and God will not do anything just like the human population does not do anything. They may be above the law, but they are not above God and God will make things right in His own time.

          Humans have, from the beginning, been evil toward each other. Humans have always attempted to be better than another. Humans, also, have always used their fellow human as dirt under their feet, if they could get away with it.

          For years I have said they we are running out of time to repent and accept the Lord (you cannot go to God but through the Lord first). In a recent blog it also read that to be saved you must repent and be baptized. I cannot repeat it enough that humanity is in jeopardy of going to live with Satan if you do not know God. There is no other. He was there first, and He is at the end.
