Let God

12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. 14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. 17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth. (Genesis 9:12-17 KJV)

For a very long time people all over the world (USA included) have cried about droughts. They have cried about the heat, cried about crops dying, cried about animals dying or having to be put to slaughter and many other things having to do with the drought. Yes, it was dry in a lot of places and some of the drought was due to humans causing the situation. People are still looking for that Garden of Eden in their lives but they are not looking at the big picture or their actions upon the only sphere that humans survive on. Alas, as an old saying goes, “Be careful for what you ask for, you just may get it.” Now, what was wished for, asked for, prayed for, is here.

First, with the exception of people that like the snow sports, people were gawking at the snows that have recently stopped. The weather people were all saying that it was too much snow or it should have ended at a certain time, etc. Well, people should know better than to attempt to predict God because he controls everything. California (as well as other places) depend on the snows in the higher mountains to fill rivers and lakes annually. What a joy, these lakes have been drying up for a long while, including here in Virginia, and now their levels are rising again. But, there was never a problem because these things have been happening for thousands (millions) of years and it will continue it’s up and down dance. There is nothing man can do about it. Man have tried damming the rivers for it’s power and diverting it for getting it’s water into other places. Everything that can be imagined have been tried to control the weather and, especially, the water. Man does not have faith in God, in what He can do nor in what He said (Genesis 9:15). There is another old, old saying…”Let God.” It is not a new saying but a very old saying as well as a true saying.

Man have asked for, prayed for and have done all sorts of things for water and now it is here (or at least some of it). I have a saying that I and many others use…”If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Nothing of God’s is broken. He will do what He does in the time that it is needed or required according to His time table. Now Texas is flooding. Storms all over the Midwest. Storms all over the west. Storms up and down the east coast. Paris is flooding so bad that art in the galleries have to be moved. Venice is slowly sinking into the sea and so is Holland (that country is even with the sea with some of the land below the sea line). Water everywhere, all around the world and it is just beginning.

However, God said He will not flood the ENTIRE world again and that can be believed. Something else is coming and, for now, no one is paying enough attention to see it. Global warming? That is based on one of the premises that the Arctic is melting. Have anyone read (as I have) that the Antarctic is slowly expanding? Is it not part of the world or is everyone just looking at their little piece of land? It is not yours, it is God’s. He said He wouldn’t flood us out but He didn’t say who, where, when, etc. Let God!
