The Genesis Time

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. (Genesis 1:26-30 KJV)

I have written in two previous blogs about God and time. What we, as humans, consider a second or minute or day or, even, a year is not the way God count time (don’t believe me, look it up in the Bible or read my previous two blogs about time because the Bible verses are quoted). However, I am not writing about time this time but in a way I am. It is like when you read or study ancient history your mind does not lapse into that particular era, it stays in the present and equate things according to today. For instance, when you think of ancient villages from the caveman era how many of us imagine what goes on when the sun goes down or think about the time it goes down at a particular time of year? That have a bearing on how much work can be done during the amount of daylight there is. But, that is not exactly what I am writing about either. That is sort of background information.

The time I am talking about is the amount of time it took God to make everything that we know. Six days. Everyone think six days is one hundred and forty four hours. Not so under God’s count. Consider what goes into making an animal (which include humans), bugs and things, greenery like trees and grass, our planet (not even counting other worlds, etc.). And this gets very complicated, if you think about it, because a lot goes into doing all of it. The voluminous, intricate things, all things. For instance, in making a human consider all things like veins, bones, blood, position and function of organs, etc. Then think about the trillions of other things that go through the same thing. Also think about plants that have particular needs, functions and anatomies.

What do I mean by complicated? We are formed by strands of DNA and maybe other things we have not discovered yet. Things are discovered all the time, things that we have not seen or known. Trees have DNA. Grass have DNA. Everything have DNA except rock but that have many other elements that we mix and mesh to make other things.

Therefore, time is everything and everything is time. Give God time because you may think it’s been a long time for whatever but, to God, it’s only a microsecond that have elapsed. I know you have heard that God is right on time every time. It took more time than you realize to create the heavens, earth, light, and everything on earth (starting with the DNA) and making it flourish and we are still finding things we never thought existed. Plus, how many galaxies are there He made?

Give God time and God will do what is necessary. It may not be what you want but what is necessary to sustain us. Most people do not understand what goes into making anything. The cellphone takes a lot but the material come from a lot of elements, elements that God made and can take it all away when he choose to do it. God can choose to take the world away and he can at anytime. The way we are behaving, He may at the TIME of His choosing, take it away, just the way He took the TIME to make the world and us. Time… God…
