Those of you that read my other blog ( www.tega227.com ) know that for a while I have been consumed by politics simply because what is happening is against everything in my being plus it is contrary to the teachings of Jesus and the rest of the Bible. As I have written in other blogs, for many years school was taught through the Bible, all subjects are covered including deportment.

In Genesis God asked Cain about the location of his brother even though God knew Abel’s demise, He wanted to hear what Cain would say. Being dumb or stupid or arrogant or the combination of it all, Cain, being the eldest said, “Am I my brother’s keeper”. All of us are in that position, not only today, but constantly. We, as a people, must care for others, be a keeper of others, you’ll never know when you’ll need someone to care for you, watch your back. Politically, DACA comes to mind (Dreamers, if you will). They did not ask to be here nor have they ever known the country of their parents.

That bring us to Proverbs…written on the Statue of Liberty is “bring me your tired, poor etc., etc.” Are we the fool that is without honor? Do we have a lying tongue and deny these individuals? The President surely have dug a pit and after the stone roll over him, it will push him into the pit and cover him. I have written in other blogs that say he and his people will end up in Satan’s pit and fall into his eternal fire.

16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. (Ezekiel 3:16-17 KJV)

I do not know the exact number of readers I have nor do I know the political leaning of the people but I am giving a warning. As the oldie but goodie song say “straighten up and fly right”. We are on watch and we must warn of impending doom. It is coming because it does not seem as though this administration will do right, have ever done right and the people around him is a lackey following into certain retribution, by doing the same thing or worst. We all must wake from the sleep we have fallen into and not only give warning but come to action. Time is short, our future and the future of those that we are keepers over is in peril. Don’t be like Cain and receive the wrath of God. In the beginning, when God made us, He gave us a brain so that we may think and reason. Use that brain, hear what is being said, see what is being done and, lastly, be your brother’s keeper. Use your tongue prudently, engage the brain before utterances.
