7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. 8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes. 9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. 10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

In this the Lord told Satan that Job will not falter no matter what he does to him. True to form, no matter what Satan did, Job did stand strong for the Lord. He kept the faith even to defying his wife and friends. He told her in verse ten that we receive good and bad from the Lord. This have always been true, it is still true today.

Think back and remember, your life have not always been cookies and cream, there have been good days as well as bad days. Like good against evil, we will forever have good and bad days. Because you always want each day to be a good day, the bad days will always seem longer, harsher. But, all you have to do is keep the faith and God will see you through all of it. Your bad days are not all that bad, you are out of your comfort zone which make it seem worst and longer.

Dealing with the present administration, here in the USA, make for long days. They seem long but are very short, actually. God is letting us suffer and all we have to do is believe in God and let Him do His bidding in His own time. God will prevail when He see fit to stop this madness. However, that is the people of the United States’ problem, no patience and very little trust in the Lord. No trust in God our Lord make everything we do seem long and hard.

We are all like Job. We are being tested and God is watching to see who will give in and follow Satan or who will not falter and follow Him. The head of the present administration is like Satan and those that follow him will find out the truth the hard way, hopefully not when it is too late. God does not lie. God does not hide the truth. God does not cheat and slander. God is good and upstanding. I rather follow God than Satan, no matter what the test. I will not follow anyone associated with Satan.

Each and everyday something new comes out about the wrongs of the present administration. I have not seen anything that is of good management nor anything that will benefit the nation. I have not seen anything that tells me he fears God and want to do right nor have I seen where he has ever done anything right. It’s always something underhanded, crooked, slight of hand, evil and the court system have to correct what was imposed. To me that is Satan and I don’t want to have anything to do with it. I am like Job. I feel I am being tested with having the head of my country being the likeness of Satan. I have patience (my wife have often told me) and I am bidding my time, I am awaiting God’s judgment. Be like Job because God will have His say soon.

As I am completing this message my phone beeped to inform me about the death of Senator John McCain, the person that is in our President’s party but our President does not like. I am truly sorry to hear of Mr. McCain’s passing but I wonder what our President will have to say about it. I can imagine that he will start by saying something good but, as usual, turn it to his own greatness or deeds.
