Iniquity

21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.   22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him:  in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.   23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?  saith the Lord GOD:  and not that he should return from his ways, and live?  24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live?  All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned:  in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die. (Ezekiel 18:21-24 KJV)

I think about the Judge Kavanaugh nomination, the how full examination of his papers will not be studied. I have been also thinking about the inaction of the President’s party, how right or wrong they will stand with him. It is immoral for them to do what they are doing. Their iniquity will be their downfall, either in this life or the hereafter.

The only thing Congress must do is act upon the oath they took; represent the people, not a narcissistic individual. They must fear God, not an inadequate individual. They must refrain from bending the truth to gain acceptance of an individual that only want to use them for his own gain and acceptance. Do they not know that death is the penalty for the actions they have taken? Do they know that death is the penalty for taking no actions against injustice?

Congress nor the Judiciary Committee can not utter they are not doing any wrong when asked to explain themselves or they are presented with something to counter whatever they are doing or saying, stuttering is heard, an answer is given which is not really an answer. God is watching and listening and will have His due. No one can escape death and final judgement. God will not take any feeble excuse for the iniquity.

30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD.   Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions;  so iniquity shall not be your ruin. (Ezekiel 18:30 KJV)

Congress, the Judiciary Committee and the President need to repent and pray for forgiveness from all transgressions. Maybe then, in Christ, they might live. For surly God does not like ugly and for a very long time the President’s party have been preforming ugliness. Even the terrible tweets will be brought before God and God will have the final word, death, instead of life forever after, will be the penalty. Remember verse thirty.
