11:14 And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spoke; and the people wondered. 11:15 But some of them said, He casts out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils. 11:16 And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven. 11:17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falls. 11:18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because all of you say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub. 11:19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. 11:20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God has come upon you.           Piggybacking on one of my recent blogs I will speak of the devil, in this case, Satan (Beelzebub). Starting in verse seventeen Jesus is speaking and He is attempting to teach something we all know but disregard. How can we, as a nation, remain when we are divided against ourselves?

          As a nation our ex-President was cast out. He and his cohorts, enablers, and cultists, more than a year after the voting is over, are still screaming the voting was fixed and is still recounting votes as if it will, somehow, turn the election back to the Beelzebub. Whatever happened to what the Republicans once said in public, ‘get over it and let us move on’? Can not they get over the election, move on and try again in the next election?

          Republicans said, in public, not to cooperate with any Democrat and they are, before anything is presented, against any bill. They have gone as far as taking a leadership role from a person that voted against their ex-President and have spoken the truth about what he have done.

          Within the party there are many to take the place of Beelzebub and will gladly sell their soul, lie, cheat, steal, etc., to make it happen. It has gotten so bad that most Republicans can not see past their own party. There are bad apples in the Democratic party but, at least, they have publicly tried to negotiate. They even wanted the other party to discuss issues, but it is to no avail.

          Now we have, not only a nation, but a party also divided against itself and something or someone will lose. The Constitution was crafted to forestall many situations, but cracks are beginning to form. Our nation will never be the same and all anyone can do is watch to see what happens.

          There are many Beelzebub in Congress and more to take their place when they are removed. We, as a people, a long time ago, got lax, dropped the ball, and let Beelzebub slowly chip away at our democracy. May God have mercy on us and get us out of this mess and that will not happen until we atone.
