4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, plead to you that all of you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith all of you are called, 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; (o. agape) 4:3 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit (o. pneuma) in the bond of peace. 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, (o. pneuma) even as all of you are called in one hope of your calling; 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.           God’s enemy according to Paul is a whole cosmic system, visible and invisible, directed by an evil being. The devil’s kingdom contains both angels and humans. Evil angels attack Christians and seek to defeat them in their obedience to God or in witness to the world. Human beings promote evil too. Sometimes we do it intentionally, sometimes we simply fail to do what is good and right, sometimes we simply choose to remain ignorant of the evil and injustice around us.

          During the writing of the letters to the different churches, Paul was under house arrest for serving God. He is begging us to lead a life worthy of the calling of God. President Biden have been criticized for going to mass too often, thereby attempting to serve the Lord, our God. He has been doing this for many years. The Catholic church even want to stop him from participating in the rituals of mass because of perceived beliefs he may have. The evil spirits, the devils, are hard at work now. During the previous administration, the devil was cruising without much to worry about. But the devil’s angels are working hard to stymie anything the President says or does.

          The President tries to do and be everything God says but there are obstacles at every turn. He cannot solve all the other people’s problems or troubles, but he is trying. Because of his religious beliefs, I believe, he is slowly bringing to world together again to fight all sorts of things to hopefully will save the world and work on the things that need to be worked on together, not alone.

          The Devil’s angels in Congress have never condemned the bad actions being done by many people, especially that of the ex-President, but is quick to make the sayings and actions of the President bad. Why is it bad to attempt to help the populace? Why is it bad to talk to the other party and attempt a compromise? All we can do is to keep ourselves united in the Holy Spirit and bind ourselves together with peace.

          Paul was in house arrest, and he communed with God and wrote to the churches, telling them about God, themselves and how to commune with God and save themselves. The entire world has been in quarantine, but have we communed with God or attempted to open our eyes and fight off the Congressional evildoers? We had the time to give it some thought and do the right thing. May God help us all.
