9:2 All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrifices, and to him that sacrifices not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that swears, as he that fears an oath. 9:3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
9:12 For man also knows not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them. (Ecclesiastes 9:2-3 & 9:24 KJV)
For everything there is a pro and there is a con. As I have said in other blogs; for all that you do, good or bad, there will be a consequence. There is not a do over. You reap what you sow. Not only do people that have not been taught this, but people that have either forgotten this think and they can forgo it for a while and make amends (atone) later. They believe there is plenty of time to undo craziness and plead for forgiveness sometime later in their life.
Let us look at wearing masks to protect yourself or for the protection of others if you are asymptomatic. Getting the vaccine is the same but with one consequence that stands out more than anything else. It may not completely keep you from getting the virus, but it may keep you from being hospitalized or dying. There are those that say they do not care about wearing the mask but change their mind when the virus is upon them. People also claim they cannot breathe with the mask on. I exercise with my mask on, as well as other things, and I do not have a problem breathing.
I have also written in blogs that no person knows when their time is up, and God or Beelzebub calls them. It is too late to atone when you are called. Verse twelve says it all and similar sayings can be found all through the Bible. Yet, many do not heed the words of God, they only want to do what they want to do. May God have mercy on their souls.
Verse three is saying that there is much evil in the world and people are full of evil. They will pay for the evil if it is not corrected before they are called. You will never be one hundred percent free of evil but the attempt to atone and do right can make you confident that it will count toward your soul being forgiven. Do not get the shot and do not wear the mask and you will soon find out which direction your soul will go. There is one event for the righteous and for the wicked and that is death. Which way you ascend is up to you and you alone.
