4:11 Not that I speak in respect of lack: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 4:12 I know both how to be brought low, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things, I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. 4:14 Notwithstanding all of you have well done, that all of you did communicate with my affliction. (Philippians 4:11-14 KJV)

          The entire world is in a pickle. Here in the United States, most of it is caused by people not believing in science, therefore, by extension, do not truly believe in God and be content in Him. How can I say this? What does God have to do with this? God made man. Therefore, gave man a brain to think and figure out things. Scientists developed a vaccine that helps people with this pandemic.

          Many people are dying because of two reasons: 1) not using common sense and 2) politicians are only for political gain and the people are listening to them. It is hard to believe people see their fellow humans dying, know the reason why, and still is willing to risk their life as well as the life of others by not masking and by not taking the vaccine. After they become ill, they have a frown and want to curse everyone for their stupidity. Above, Paul say be content and believe in God.

          To believe in God is to rely on His creation and in turn believe in the science that was created. Be content in Christ. No matter how bad things get, no matter how low things look, Christ is there and all you must do is to be content, be joyous, and believe in Him. Paul knows this because he had his share of ups and downs, highs and lows. However, he still had a smile on his face. One time, when he was in jail, he still had a smile on his face, still believed in Christ, and prayed. There came an earthquake that caused the release of Paul and other people that were in jail.

          People have forsaken God and think they can do what they want to do when they want to do it. This pandemic shows us that we need Christ more than ever and we must be content in the situation, pray to God, then we may come out of this better than before. Forsake God, forsake His commandments, and forsake the wisdom of the scientists that God made, the outcome will be bad. Do not practice one or two commandments, attempt to practice all of them and God will consider you when you attempt to enter Heaven.  

          Most of all, be content in God with everything you do. If it is a chore to do what God want, you are not in step with God when your time come to die. Another fate awaits you, not God’s.
