The Probability of Proverbs

14:27 The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
14:28 In the multitude of people is the king’s honour: but in the lack of people is the destruction of the prince.
14:29 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalts folly.
14:30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.
14:31 He that oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker: but he that honors him has mercy on the poor.
14:32 The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous has hope in his death.
14:33 Wisdom rests in the heart of him that has understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
14:35 The king’s favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causes shame. (Proverbs 14:27-35 KJV)

There have been a lot of discussion laced with anger about money. I am talking about money for the rich verses money for the ‘not so rich’ and the poor. I do not care how it is phrased nor do I care whoever turn a blind eye on giving more money breaks to the rich. Yet, I am not poor nor am I rich. I live a comfortable life, but I readily give to charitable organizations. Sure, some that are not poor will get a piece of the money but that is trivial in comparison.

Thinking back, ln Congress there was a money bill that passed with most of the money going to people with money, not the poor. Now, the bill is changed with the lion’s share of the money going to the poor. It is a political thing. Do not let the other side succeed. Sounds good but it is at the expense of their constituents, the poor people. I consider that a sin, but does God? I am assuming He does (verse 31).

Also, many in Congress have voiced their displeasure and anger at what is happening. Things they can not control but was good when they were in control. They should read verse twenty-nine and remember it is not about them nor for them, it is for their constituents, it is the will of their constituents. If the majority of the people are for certain things, the Congresspeople must remember the people elected them to do what the majority want.

Proverbs make a person think. What God want us to do must be obeyed. To do what you want to do and look down your nose at others while doing it is against everything God desire from us.

Verse twenty-seven says what I have said over and over again. What all the people want, that are for dissent, is death. A death that comes with the fires of hell (verse 32). Be a nation of righteousness and life after death is greatly enhanced. It is all up to you to sin or not to sin.
