1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
1:5 Why should all of you be stricken anymore? all of you will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
1:6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and rotting sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
1:7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. (Isaiah 1:4-7 KJV)
Isaiah was a prophet and spoke God’s message to the nation of Judah for more than fifty years. Judah was filled with moral decay and spiritual disease, the same thing that is happening to us now.
I am not a prophet. I am not a minister. But, I can read the hand writing on the wall and it is not good. We are slowly experiencing some of the punishment that God have in store for us. I say slowly because, as I have written in other blogs, we are not on the same timeline as God. A day, an hour, nor a year is not the same to God as it is to us. The clock is ticking, and time is short.
We have many people that do not believe in God, science, nor anything else if it comes from any authority other than themselves. There are people that do not think about God when they say the things that shows their inner, foul soul. I do not believe they think of the Lord when they turn a blind eye on people while doing foul things. It has been said that Christ, our God, will not stand for disobedience and we will suffer the consequences.
I wrote in other blogs that part of the suffering will be floods, earthquakes, fire, drought, heat, cold, disease, and much more. We are feeling the beginning of the onslaught of things to come. The only way out of the mess we are in is to acknowledge God, repent, and pray.
The Bible have many stories about being good versus being wrong and the consequences when things continue like in our political scene. Add to that and there are those that are attempting to do the right thing about the virus versus those that continue to do the wrong thing even to help their political career. These people are doing this with the blood of thousands of God’s people on their hands. God will remember on judgement day.
The handwriting on the wall is telling those that can read to stop the nonsense and come to God. God want His people to do well but not one against the other. If you do not care for what I have to say, do what Isaiah say and live, be happy, prosper. Isaiah was the true prophet.
