1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. (Job 1:1 KJV)

2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

2:2 And the LOR D said unto Satan, from whence come you? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, from going back and forth in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. (Job 2:1-2 KJV)

          During the obsequies that is happening in Texas, and Ukraine I am thinking of Job. For those that are not acquainted with Job, please read it as a story, not just passages. In it God shows nothing will be put on you that you can not bear if you stay true to Him. There is always a reason for the sorrow you are going through. Love God, stay true to God, and God will see you through all things.

          In the Texas school shooting, a man died two days after his wife was murdered. Some will say he died of a broken heart, which is a true statement, and some will say God took him to be with his wife. Either way, God knows best, and He always have a plan although we seldom know what it is.

          As for the war in Ukraine, there is a reason and we will see the outcome when God deems we are ready to know or, like the game of chess, what He is doing brings the result He wants.

          Never think because you are keeping your faith in God and things seem to be getting worst, never think God have forsaken you. He has a plan for all that He does. You may not know what the plan is, but He does. Look at what Job went through and the outcome. The in-between story is the interesting part if you pay attention and think about it.

          Job, in the end, regained all that he lost. You may not regain everything, but your life will be better. As the saying goes “keep the faith”, keep the faith in God and His plan (chess moves) will be all the better for you.

          That was Satan at his worst at the Texas school and in Ukraine. As Satan told God, he is everywhere, all over the world, and he is always doing evil things. The gun lobbyists, the people that want the money instead of wanting to do anything about the shootings, and Putin with his henchmen are all part of Satan’s evil doings.

          God, our Father, will see us through all things if we will only believe in Him and do His will. Love God with all your might and soul and good will befall you forever.
